Aleksandra has worked for Equilibrium School since the summer of 2022. Since then, she has taken on many different roles around the school. She has taught EAL, Computers and ZOOM classes and has helped out in the office with various projects.

Although her whole family is from Poland, Aleksandra moved to Calgary in 2014 with her family after being born and raised in Greece. She has managed to stay connected to her Polish roots through the art of Polish Folk Dance; since 2018, she has been a part of “Polanie” Polish Song & Dance Association based here in Calgary. As Aleksandra has been dancing her whole life, deciding to combine her passion and culture was natural. Due to being exposed to so many different cultures, she is fluent in English, Polish and Greek. This is especially beneficial to her as she is currently in her fourth year of completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics with a concentration in Applied Linguistics at the University of Calgary.
