Equilibrium EAL Conversation

Equilibrium School’s EAL (English as an Additional Language) Program is a Designated Learning Program that is able to receive foreign nationals on a study permit.

Times: 9 AM – 12 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Conversation Classes build two essential language skills: Listening and speaking. These language skills are imperative for casual communication as well as professional communication. Whether you are a professional or simply wish to improve your casual English conversation skills, these classes will assist you in reaching your goal.

In addition to listening and speaking skills, Equilibrium’s Conversation Classes build pronunciation and intonation habits, which help students express their meaning more clearly and concisely.

Canada

Vocabulary is another essential component to any Conversation class, be it Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. More complex vocabulary is covered at higher levels, and as such, students can learn to express themselves on an ever growing number of topics as they progress.

Canadian life and culture are also discussed in these classes, resulting in a better understanding of how to create meaningful communication between individuals of different cultures.

In all three levels of Conversation Class (beginner, intermediate and advanced) students will study under the supervision of experienced and qualified English teachers, using a variety of textbooks and learning materials.

Our Conversation Classes are designed to accommodate international students, visitors and new immigrants in the best way possible.

Our EAL program runs on a continuous intake basis and can be started each Monday.
