Scholarship Recipients

Equilibrium is pleased to announce that the 2025 Pay It Forward Like Dina Would Equilibrium School Scholarship has been awarded to Kazio, Kalinka, and Katsper of Calgary in memory of their grandfather, Mr. Stanislaw Wardzala.

Stanislaw was a student at Equilibrium School from 2018 to 2020. During the two years he spent at Equilibrium, he inspired his classmates and teachers alike with his work ethic, kindness, consistently positive attitude, and genuine friendliness that he shared with every person he met. Stanislaw was a wonderful example of how learning doesn’t stop with age. Even though he was older than many other students at Equilibrium, he was a dedicated student, made many friends, and was a regular participant in school events and extracurricular activities. Stanislaw was also a man who made an effort to get to know people. He enjoyed meeting new people, asking them meaningful questions, and talking with them about his family and his many hobbies and interests. He was also gifted at lightening the mood in any situation and making everyone around him feel good about life. In many ways, Stanislaw embodied the very best of Equilibrium’s Pay It Forward Like Dina would philosophy.

Stanislaw will always be remembered at Equilibrium with great fondness. By awarding our 2025 scholarship to Stanislaw’s grandchildren, Equilibrium is privileged to share this remembrance and honour the legacy of a wonderful person who left such a positive impact on others. We wish Kazio, Kalinka, and Katsper all the best and hope that the scholarship serves them well in their future educational pursuits.
