What is CELPIP?

The CELPIP-General Test is a complete English language test that assesses general levels of functional competency. The test is completely computer-delivered and consists of the following components:

• Listening
• Speaking
• General Reading and Writing

The CELPIP-General Test uses Canadian English, as opposed to other varieties of English that are used on similar exams.

CELPIP 8 WEEK Preparation Course

The CELPIP Preparation Course is an 8-week training program totalling 32 hours, designed to help students develop the necessary English language skills to succeed in the CELPIP exam. This course provides a structured approach to improving proficiency in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, with a focus on test-taking strategies and practical language use. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the exam format and expectations while enhancing their ability to communicate effectively in various real-life and professional contexts. Through guided instruction, interactive exercises, and constructive feedback, students will build confidence and fluency in English. The course emphasizes structured practice, grammar reinforcement, and time management techniques to help learners maximize their performance. By the end of the program, students will have developed the skills and strategies needed to approach the CELPIP exam with confidence and achieve their desired results

• 8 week program (32 hours of instruction)
• Program is offered online via Zoom
• Maximum 10 students per class
• Prerequisite: minimum CLB 4 in all skills
