Intensive Customer Service Program

Course Description

This five-day course provides 15 hours of intensive instruction on the theories, skills, and best practices needed to excel as a customer service professional.

The course is designed specifically for adult learners with previous experience in non-customer service professions and/or careers with limited customer interaction.

Students will learn skills and strategies needed to navigate, de-escalate, and resolve challenging situations, provide friendly and client-focused solutions, create professional rapport with clients, and think outside the box when addressing customer concerns and inquires.

This course includes textbook-based and multimedia learning, instructor-led classroom activities, and hands-on components involving students from Equilibrium's English language acquisition programs who play the roles of customers in guided role-play activities designed to mirror real-world situations and challenges.

The course is available in-person at Equilibrium and online via Zoom.
