Refund Policy for Independent Study Program
- All students are required to finish their course (including all assignments, quizzes, and tests) before 5 months elapses. The independent program is 5 months long, beginning from the date of payment.
- Students are not allowed to transfer from one independent course to another. If they wish to change to another subject (instead of the one they signed for) they have to reapply and make adequate payment.
- Students who withdraw from the course prior to submitting any assignments and/or writing any tests will be eligible for a refund less a $150.00 cancellation fee.
- Students who withdraw from the course after submitting any assignments and/or writing any tests will not be eligible for a refund.
- Please note that the independent program is recommended mostly for students who already took the course (applies to grade 12 courses) and wish to improve their school mark.
- All independent students are eligible for a teacher consultation, which cannot exceed more that 5 hours per course. All additional help from the teacher will be considered as separate tutoring sessions and additional costs will apply.
All teacher consultations have to be scheduled ahead of time with the Registrar's Office and should be confirmed at least 24 hours before the session time.
