English As a Second Language Credit Courses
Our ESL credit courses will help improve reading and writing skills in order to prepare students for high school and other studies. These courses are intended to develop students' understanding of written English.
Reading and Writing ESL 10A - 5 Credits
Students will develop their English sentence structure, learn to express their ideas more clearly, and develop fluency in their writing, and reading. Some elements of grammar and spelling are covered.
Reading and Writing ESL 10B - 5 Credits
Students learn to organize and express their ideas clearly and develop good paragraph structure. The course includes various kinds of writing styles and allows students to practice many of them.
Reading and Writing ESL 10C - 5 Credits
Students develop organization, clarity and correctness in writing. Attention is given to grammar and spelling as students practice various kinds of writing, including essay writing.
