Chemistry

Chemistry 20 and 30 courses include the study of matter and its changes, and the impact of chemistry on technology and society. Both courses involve experimentation and problem solving.

Chemistry 20 - 5 Credits

Chemistry 20 is the first course in the Chemistry 20-30 series. The Chemistry 20-30 program stresses the key science themes energy, matter, change, systems, diversity, and equilibrium. Within these themes, students can develop an appreciation for chemistry's place in their world, as well as its connections to other science disciplines. The Chemistry 20 course consists of seven modules. Laboratory work is required.

Chemistry 30 - 5 Credits

Chemistry 30 is the second course in the Chemistry 20-series. The Chemistry 20-30 program stresses the key science themes: energy, matter, change, systems, diversity, and equilibrium. Within these themes, students can develop an appreciation for chemistry's place in their world, as well as its connections to other science disciplines.
