High School Credit Program Tuition Fees:

$100.00 - Letter of Acceptance Fee

Non - Refundable. Applies only to students who require the letter of acceptance from the school.

$50.00 - Registration Fee per semester

Non- Refundable.

$100.00 - Test Placement Fee

Applies only to students who wish to challenge a course and receive credits for it.

$100.00 - Credit Evaluation Fee, Local

Applies only to students who need to have their out of province credits transferred to the Alberta education system.

$200.00 - Credit Evaluation Fee, International Applies only to students who need to have their foreign credits transferred to the Alberta education system.

$900.00 - One Five Credit Course for International Students

International students are required by immigration to attend classes full-time - a minimum of four courses per semester.

$500.00 - One Five Credit Course for Landed Immigrant/Canadian Students

Students over the age of 19 can be eligible for full government funding if residents of Alberta.

Health Care Insurance (mandatory)

$35.00 - High School Placement Test

Applies only to students who are unable to provide Equilibrium with their out-of-province transcripts.
$150.00 - Course challenge Fee Applies only to students who wish to challenge a course and receive credits for it.
$5.00 - Document Duplicate Copy Fee Equilibrium will charge a flat fee for every copy of an official document from a student's file
$10.00 - Student ID Optional

EXAMPLE OF COSTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:

One Year Program (2 Semesters - 10 months)

$7,200.00 Tuition Fee* - 8 courses

One Semester Program (5 months)

$3,600.00 Tuition Fee* - 4 courses

Summer Program (2 months)

$1,800.00 Tuition Fee* - 2 courses

*The full amount has to be paid at the beginning of the program.

Please note: Textbooks and activity fees are not included in tuition fee. All textbooks can be purchased at Equilibrium's bookstore. The usual cost for high school text books is around $80.00 per course.

Any NSF cheques are subject to a $40.00 service charge per cheque.
